Redbull with another dominant weekend. Taking home the win in the sprint race Sergio stays true to being the king of street circuits. Will he keep that going this weekend in Miami? Max look good all weekend as well. In the sprint, he did lose a good portion of his side pod but still finished 3rd. In the race, they were still able to bring home a one-two even after starting 2-3 on the grid. They both started on the mediums and switched to the hards. Max took a pit stop on lap 10 right after the yellow flags went out I assume they did not expect a safety car to come out the next lap or else they probably would have kept him out there. Sergio came out on lap 11. From there on out, it was all Redbull. Will be very interesting to see what happens at red bull only 6 points separate Max and Sergio.
McLaren had a better weekend having Lando finishing in the points at 9th and Oscar finishing 11th. This is much better than what we saw to start the season. Hopefully, they can continue to improve over the coming races. They seem to be a bit on the slower end thought throughout the race but still much better then where they started.

This was a weekend to forget for Nyck De Vries clipping the wall on turn 5 going into turn 6 causing him to DNF on lap 10. For Yuki he had a better race but in the sprint race he also DNF after clipping the wall into turn 14 and losing his back right tire. Yuki did finish the race though and took home 1 point finishing in p10. Along with the race we got the news that Franz tost will be stepping down after this season
Alpine had a tough weekend that is for sure. Starting off in FP1 with Pierres Alpine catching fire. Ocon would also not see any more running in FP1 making sure everything was okay. In Q1 of qualifying Pierre would crash out in turn 3. Ocon would end up getting eliminated in Q2 finishing in 12th. Going into the sprint shot out Pierre would not set a true time and would finish in p19. Ocon would do a little better and finish p13. The sprint would not be much better Ocon would end up starting from the pits after changing some parts on his car. Pierre did climb from 18th to 14th during the race. Both drivers were on very different strategies Pierre started on the mediums and pitted early and Ocon was on the hards and went until the final lap until he pitted. Ocon got the most out of tires his pace was not too far off his teammates toward the middle of the race. Overall a weekend Alpine would like to move on from.
Mercedes had a decent weekend with Lewis finishing 6th and George finishing 8th. Lewis and George would have a pretty uneventful FP1. Lewis had some brake issues early on. George would end up taking p11 in qualifying well his teammate would make it into Q3 and take P5 and be just .161 off of Sainz for P4. Sprint Shot Out would be a better showing for George finishing P4 and Lewis taking P6. The Sprint race would be a little more interesting with George and Max getting tangled up into turn 3 and George taking out a good piece of Max's side pod. The race would start off with both Lewis and George on mediums for the first stint. Lewis would pit on lap ten for a set of softs going in right before the yellow flags were waved. George would pull up side by side and go into the pits with a stroll under the safety car. After the safety car restart, George would lose a place to both Stroll and Lewis. Lewis would have some chances towards the end of the race using his DRS but he would not be able to get it done. These two drivers where right onto each other as comes to times set per lap. Which is a good thing to see. It would be interesting to see the battle that would be taking place if Mercedes had a more competitive car.
